I’ve got a dream! I’ve got a dream! I just want to see the floating lanterns gleam!(name that movie)

So yeah I’ve got a dream. Just like everyone else, I have things I am working towards or want in life.  Career wise, and personally. I think about the future a lot, and often get stuck in it.  Thinking about what I want to accomplish and where I want to be.  I have an idea of where I want to be in, say, 10 years. But then I remember life doesn’t go according to plan.  A lot of things in my life didn’t go according to plan, so why would they now?

Jeremiah 29:11 says,”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,”plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans give you hope and a future.”

When I think of this verse, I am reminded that God has a plan for me. He knows where I will be in 10 years or in 20 years. Where I have NO IDEA, and thats okay.  I know that God’s plan for me is so much better than my plans. I know that God will lead me and place me exactly where I need to be at the right time. Yes being a bit of a planner the not knowing is hard, but I know who holds my future. I know that I can trust Him to lead and guide to exactly where I need to be. So because of this, I don’t have to worry about the future, I know that God is taking care of it.  So my prayer as of late is asking God to help me trust Him with my future and give me a willing heart to follow Him wherever He leads.

Ephesians 3:20 says,”Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.”

He has a plan for all of us and will make sure we are where we need to be.  Thank you, Jesus!
