We went to an outdoor concert on Wednesday! It was the Fabulous Armadillos, who are a cover band! We got dinner and took it to the park and had a picnic which was a lot of fun! It was great family time!!

This was my YouVersion Bible verse of the day, yesterday! I am working on trusting and keeping my mind on Jesus. In a world with so many distractions, it is hard to keep your mind on God. But knowing God loves me and will pick me up when I fall is amazing!!

FRIDAY

We had my cousin Christina’s wedding that afternoon, and this was what I wore! I love maxi dresses!

SATURDAY

I had a youth leadership retreat Saturday-Sunday morning. I know super weird selfie, but I was tired and was waiting for the boys to wake up.

After breakfast, talking, and devos we went on the pontoon!

So the boys went for a swim, and just after this picture the boat wouldn’t start for like 15-20 mins. Finally it did but it took some effort!

Maggie and I after our one-on-one soccer match, which ended fast due to me tripping and scraping up my leg, and to this day still have a pretty gross wound. After this we planned for the 2015-2016 youth group year! It was so fun! It is going to be a great year.

At like eleven we played Apples to Apples! If you are wondering, I lost.

Maggie and I slept in the boat house, while the boys slept on the pontoon (they actually said it was awesome!), here was my view falling asleep! And at like 1am the wind blew so hard both doors opened so I had to get up and close them. Ha!

I got up early to get ready for church, can you tell I’m tired?! We went to church then I came home, FaceTimed my friend Megan, and then chilled the rest of the day! How was your weekend?

2: Family. They constantly make me laugh and support and encourage me through everything. They are a blessing from God.

3: Friends. I love being around people! Which is really funny because I am naturally really introverted and always wanted to be alone, but now I don’t really like being alone that much. Plus I can’t be alone for medical reasons so maybe that’s why? #seizureprobs

4: Rolling down the hill. Something so simple that always brings me back to when I was younger!

5: Playing frisbee. Which last week I was terrible at but have practiced a lot and now am a lot better!

6: Internet. It is pretty awesome to have it back!

7: Netflix. Also I love that now with our new internet we can have 2 people on Netflix and it works perfectly. Before we could barely have one.

8: Blogging! I love having a place to share my recipes, craft projects, and heart!

9: Apple Music. It awesome, enough said.

10: Coffee. Also I am really craving a mint condition mocha from caribou right now.

11: Bible study. I have really enjoyed bible study with the girls from my youth group!

12: Bugs spray. Because let’s be real, I get eaten alive by mosquitos. It because I’m so sweet! Ha!

13: Getting stuff done. Last week I packed for my trip, cleaned the kitchen, living room, dining room, and my room, and started laundry! It felt so good to get it all done!

14: Instagram. Love seeing my favorite bloggers and friends photos!

15: Bagels. And of course with cream cheese, which I load on. No thin spots please!

16: Bonfires. Which I love but not with firecrackers in. A boy at youth group threw some in and every time they went off it scared me to death!

17: Making others smile or laugh!

18: Going on trips. Which by the time this is posted, I will be leaving Knoxville, TN!

19: Rain/Thunderstorms. They scare most people but I think they are super cool!

20: Tori Kelly’s music. I love her music but especially because she loves Jesus and is a great role model! Good celeb roll models are literally one in a million!

21: Embracing the natural waves. I have naturally wavy hair so I lately have been wearing it down.

22: Playing music loud in the car and singing to it!

23: Color. If you saw my side of the room (Sophia and I share), you could tell that I like a lot of color!

24: Watermelon. So juicy and refreshing in the summer!

25: Good smelling lotions! I am currently loving the Bath and Body Works, Georgia Peach and Sweet tea lotion!

It all started with me being shoved in the back of the car with these crazies. I will tell you it wasn’t boring!

We dropped my dad off at the art institute and then went to the salon. Here is me waiting for them to finish. Bright pink lipstick for the win!

Then me while we were going back to the art institute. I am so glad I don’t live in the cities!

Then we went to IKEA and had lunch and went shopping. I posted this on Instagram.

Then we went to the mall of america. I wanted to throw up looking at this ride.

We got Caribou, so good! I always get the mint condition mochas, blended. What do you get?

And my dinner. It was so big I had to have 2 plates. Needless to say I didn’t make a dent into it. We went back home and had ice cream and watched Moms Night Out, which is really funny! So that was our day.

So a few weeks ago, my brother Colin graduated from high school and we had a grad party for him. So here is a little bit of what we did. Note to self: Take more pictures.

Friday:

That morning we had to pick up last minute things at the store, and finish cleaning the house. After we went to St. Cloud we picked up our friends Annabelle and Mia, and dropped Solomon off at their house. I find it funny that it was Colin’s grad party but my sisters and I had friends spend the night and he didn’t. That afternoon we went to the Rec. center to set up.

Once we set up we went home and made about 6 dozen cupcakes. Then we chilled for the rest of the evening. Sophia and Mia get really crazy and hyper when they are together, so yeah they were a little nuts! Ha!

Saturday:

Here is me after I was woken up by a mannequin head shoved in my face. I sure was awake. Not.

Here is me awake at the Rec. center. We were ready and just waited for the guests to arrive.

When we got home we put stuff away, and then we had a big after party which was a lot of fun! And the night ended in a huge thunderstorm (which by the way was AWESOME!), and we noticed our electrical wire was hitting a tree. Yeah thankfully our house didn’t burn down. Over all it was a great weekend!

Sophia and I had Bible study on Wednesday evening while my mom had a meeting, so we walked to church to meet her. I love evening walks!

Yesterday I went around our yard and took pictures, and then edited them in Pic.Tap.Go! and really liked how they turned out! I love this time of year!! What is the weather like where you live?

This was my breakfast (or more like brunch since I ate it at 10) yesterday. It was SO good! Just 3 pieces of toast with jam (upper left), peanut butter (middle), and cheese with hot sauce (right)! For being so simple it sure was yummy! What is your favorite breakfast?

I am so excited for Colin’s grad party next week! We have a lot of people coming over the night before to spend the night so that will be fun!

Friday

We just chilled around the house and went to town that morning. We still are without internet at our house so we have been going to our Dad’s shop to use his. We watched movies and had a campfire that evening which was a lot of fun!

Saturday

Colin and I went to our town’s high school graduation. Here is my friend Lacey after she graduated! Before went to the graduation ceremony, Colin was telling me to be prepared for a lot of questions because of my seizure, and I actually didn’t get a lot of questions that day but at church the next day, whoa. It was cool to see how much people care and were glad to see me! That night we went out to eat and then came home and watched movies!

Sunday 

Sunday we went to church and then our neighbor had his grad party that afternoon. They had games planned and fireworks, but unfortunately it got rained out. Even though we live right next to them, I didn’t walk. We went home and  watched a movie together, and snacked. During the summer when we have grad parties we usually got for dinner or mid afternoon and then just snack when we get home. At like 7pm I said bacon sounded good, so my Mom made me bacon! Yeah she is pretty great.

Monday

Yeah for extended weekend! Actually we cleaned the house and did chores all morning, but it actually wasn’t that bad and I was just so glad to get the house cleaned! My Dad only worked half a day so we just chilled for the afternoon. It was pretty raining all day so we couldn’t do much outside which was kinda a bummer. At one point it stopped raining so my Dad built a fire, but then it started raining. During dinner though, the sun came out which was really nice! That night we visited with Gillian, who had been camping all weekend and had yummy cheesecake and ice cream!

So that was my weekend! Hope you had a great one!

Graduation parties are starting this weekend for us, with my older brother Colin’s in a few weeks! I am really excited for those! Graduation parties are one of my favorite things about summer!

What have you been up to?

This is a photo I took of our plum tree on Friday. I love this picture of the blossoms!

I attempted to watch something outside on Friday night but the wind was just a little too chilly.

On Saturday I got up at about 11am and almost as soon as I got up I wanted to bake something. So what did I bake you may be wondering? Homemade cinnamon rolls, but instead of the cinnamon filling I stuffed it with cheese and bacon then put a maple frosting on top. They were really good. Later in the afternoon I made cookies. Yeah so a lot of baking going on. My older sister had her friend over to spend the night, and I finished the day with Netflix.

Me on the way to church, Sunday. Yeah straightening didn’t do much to my hair. I was watching Cupcake Wars on Netflix Sunday afternoon and I find it so funny when the teams are saying,”Oh we are going to win, we are better than everyone else”, and then they go home.

Oh you don’t cook/bake in 6 inch heels? In the late afternoon I worked on a recipe for Wednesday which I am super excited about! Our friend Lacey stopped by and then we watched Royal Pains on Netflix.
