1: Jesus. This year has been the hardest but the best year yet. I have learned so many things and have grown stronger in my faith and just learned a lot about myself. I love how God can change something really hard into something SO beautiful that you have to take a second glance!

2: Family. They constantly make me laugh and support and encourage me through everything. They are a blessing from God.

3: Friends. I love being around people! Which is really funny because I am naturally really introverted and always wanted to be alone, but now I don’t really like being alone that much. Plus I can’t be alone for medical reasons so maybe that’s why? #seizureprobs

4: Rolling down the hill. Something so simple that always brings me back to when I was younger!

5: Playing frisbee. Which last week I was terrible at but have practiced a lot and now am a lot better!

6: Internet. It is pretty awesome to have it back!

7: Netflix. Also I love that now with our new internet we can have 2 people on Netflix and it works perfectly. Before we could barely have one.

8: Blogging! I love having a place to share my recipes, craft projects, and heart!

9: Apple Music. It awesome, enough said.

10: Coffee. Also I am really craving a mint condition mocha from caribou right now.

11: Bible study. I have really enjoyed bible study with the girls from my youth group!

12: Bugs spray. Because let’s be real, I get eaten alive by mosquitos. It because I’m so sweet! Ha!

13: Getting stuff done. Last week I packed for my trip, cleaned the kitchen, living room, dining room, and my room, and started laundry! It felt so good to get it all done!

14: Instagram. Love seeing my favorite bloggers and friends photos!

15: Bagels. And of course with cream cheese, which I load on. No thin spots please!

16: Bonfires. Which I love but not with firecrackers in. A boy at youth group threw some in and every time they went off it scared me to death!

17: Making others smile or laugh!

18: Going on trips. Which by the time this is posted, I will be leaving Knoxville, TN!

19: Rain/Thunderstorms. They scare most people but I think they are super cool!

20: Tori Kelly’s music. I love her music but especially because she loves Jesus and is a great role model! Good celeb roll models are literally one in a million!

21: Embracing the natural waves. I have naturally wavy hair so I lately have been wearing it down.

22: Playing music loud in the car and singing to it!

23: Color. If you saw my side of the room (Sophia and I share), you could tell that I like a lot of color!

24: Watermelon. So juicy and refreshing in the summer!

25: Good smelling lotions! I am currently loving the Bath and Body Works, Georgia Peach and Sweet tea lotion!

What things do you love? Happy Friday!

So I have been thinking about memories a lot. Here are some that I laugh every time I remember them!

1: A couple of years ago my older sister Gillian had some friends over, so the rest of the family had to leave the house. My Dad, Colin(older brother), his friend Alex, Sophia(little sister), and I went to see a movie. On the way to the theatre, Alex told me that green bean spelled backwards spells gullible. Yeah gullible I was, because I spent the rest of the way there trying to figure how that was possible! Now I just laugh at myself!!

2: A little while after we moved into our current house Colin, Sophia, Solomon(little brother), and I were raking leaves. To pass the time up Colin and I thought it would be funny to tell Sophia that she was adopted. Yes it was mean, but we totally had her believe that in fact she was adopted!! So I guess that is one thing Sophia and I have in common!!#gulliblesisters

3: For my 12th (I think) birthday, I decided to make brownies and then I was going to decorate them. Well after I had scooped them into the cupcake liners, I realized that I had forgotten the vanilla (I should say at this point that I was doing the recipe from memory. I thought I knew that recipe like the back of my hand. Turns out, I didn’t) so I took the batter out and added the vanilla, then popped them in the oven. About 20 mins in the baking time, I turn the light on and notice that they don’t seem to be baking. I take them out and try to figure out what went wrong and them it hits me…I forgot the eggs!! I was so shocked that I forgot to put eggs in!! Anyway, we ate them but they were as hard as a rock! Also, unfortunately this isn’t only time I have done this.

4: I remember right before the first Hunger Games came out, my siblings were telling me about the movie. I remember thinking “Wow that is going to be a terrible movie!”, and then a few months later it became my favorite movie! I surprised myself!

5: About 8 years ago on New Years Eve, my parents told us kids that they were expecting Solomon. We were all excited, and Colin and I started coming up with baby names. It didn’t take long to decide on Ima Pig Welch for a girl. Colin and I thought we were so clever. Needless to say my parents hated that name!

What are some of your fondest memories?

That question. Honestly one of the most complicated questions out there, yet we are asked almost everyday.
That question. Honestly one of the most complicated questions out there, yet we are asked almost everyday. I think that as humans we just naturally say “Oh, I’m great,” really without even thinking. I know that I do that. I mean, because what if you aren’t doing well, but don’t want to tell that person what’s going on? COMPLICATED. When I think of this subject, I remember an old friend of mine. Whenever someone asked him how he was, he always answered with “I’m blessed.” I love that! Because no matter what is really going on, we all are really blessed. Even in those hard times, God still gives us things to be thankful for. So I am going to try to not always say “Oh, I’m great,” but really, give it a second thought.
